Tollywood Photo Spotlite: Karthika Pournami (1979). Sobhan Babu is a teacher who comes to a quaint little village to teach Telugu in a college. He moves into a house owned by an astrologer and his wife. Bhanupriya is the domestic help in that house who belongs to a lower caste. Sobhan Babu, impressed by Bhanupriya's desire to learn the arts of classical dance, arranges for her music and dance lessons. He spends a lot of time trying to mentor her but the village folk start to suspect that they have an affair going on. To keep them quiet, Sobhan Babu gets married and brings his wife, Radhika to the village. What happens next has to be watched.
