Chiranjeevi's second release was a run away success and chiru's talent was instantly recognized by everyone. Beautifully written by Bapu and ramana, manavoori pandavulu, was a succesful transport of a mythological narrative into a contemporary story.
Rambhopal, the zaminder, has full control over the village activites.
He indulges in all kinds of atrocities and debaucheries . His son manages to convince him that by donating some lakshs, he could be produced more lakhs to open a factory in the village.
Rambhopal with the help of his henehmen collects money from the villagers through force. Ramu and his band of 4 more friends who had been wronged by Rambhopal earlier plans and exposes Rambhopal and his henchmen.
They were lauded by the villagers for exposing Rambhopal and for restoring peace and harmony in the village, and thus called as Manavoori pandavulu.
